01 June 2008 - Turkish legislation for Foreign Nationals buying property in Turkey.
Recently all Title Transactions of Foreign Nationals were suspended with a circular letter of the Ministry of Public Works and Settlement. Subsequently, the Council of Ministers submitted a new draft law to the Parliament to resolve the matter in acquisition of Turkish properties by Foreign Nationals.
We are closely monitoring the process and we are please to inform you that the draft law was moved from seventieth to second place in the agenda of the Parliament.
The draft will be discussed and voted in the Parliament after the ongoing voting procedure for the Law on ‘Radio and Television Broadcasting’ comes to an end.
